Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:
- Establish a USB connection between the HTC U Ultra and computer
- On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media Device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the desired audio files on the computer storage
- Copy and paste the files on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones / Notifications directories
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to Settings
- Access Personalize
- Tap Ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap Apply to confirm
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set for contacts stored on the SIM card or the phones internal memory.
- Tap Apps on the home screen
- Open People
- Select the desired contact and tap Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap Apply
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to and tap Sounds & Notifications
- Tap Notification sound
- Select the desired notification alert
- Tap Apply to confirm
