Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the HTC device to your computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files on the PC storage
- Copy the desired audio files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the Ringtones and/or Notifications folders, or the Media directory
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Access Settings
- Go to Personalize
- Tap Ringtone and select the desired ringtone
- Tap Apply to confirm
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned for contacts located on the phones internal memory or the SIM card.
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch People
- Tap the desired contact and tap Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap Apply to confirm
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch Settings
- Scroll to and tap Sounds & Notifications
- Tap Notification sound and select the desired notification alert
- Tap Apply to confirm
