Share iPhone Contacts using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer via USB
  2. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once the sync completes, switch to the Android device and sign in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in to iCloud on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. After the vCard is downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “People” or:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the PC and import the vCard to Google contacts

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps like My Contacts Backup for iOS. The app can share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
  3. After the process completes, send the vCard to your own address
  4. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  5. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “People”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring computer access.

  1. Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Install the same app on the HTC device from the Play Store
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, select the desired contacts
  5. Choose a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
