I bought a Kyocera V5/MTV Edition Slider on September 26th and it broke by October 2nd. I can still send and recieve calls, but my trouble is with the screen. If I turn on the phone in it's closed position, everything is fine. Once I start sliding it up, the color will flicker half way, then once in the upright position the color is either all messed up (greenish/pinkish tints everywhere) or the screen just turns completely black, though you can tell it's on still because the backlight. Is there anyway for me to fix this without having to pay for repair? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Alright, this might just work.....If you have a Torx 6 screwdriver, or a really small allen wrench your in luck. Ok, take off your battery. You'll see 4 screws. Unscrew them. your back piece should now be de-tached. Unscrew the screws from the circut board and the phone should come apart in some more pieces(You may need to do a little prying on both the houseing and the board. Just be careful.)Now you will see a cable. This is called the Flex cable. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN TOUCHING THE FLEX CABLE!!! you may need to push it in the little port more, or if that dosen't work, completely de-tatch it from the port on the circut board. If the flex cable was out of the port and that fixed it, then prceed to put your phone back together, if not then you have to do some more work. after you remove the flex cable from the port, you have to go into your screen box. unscrew the screws and push the flex cable in a little more. Then when you do that, put the screen houseing back togetherput the flex cable back into the port(All the way it can go) put your phone back together by reversing the steps, and YOUR DONE!!!!
    Good Luck
