I recently bought the USB cord for my LG 6100 to download ringtones, pictures, and such. I've figured out how to download midi files from PC to the phone, but the rings are sooooo soft. I have not figured out to make them louder. All my volumes settings are up. Is there a setting on the phone or do I need to do something to them before I download it?
Also is there anyone to take other audio files on the phone other than midis? I think the file limit is 200k, but could I cut a part of an MP3 and make my own tone.

First, the midi file needs to have the sound amplified on it, it's not your phone. There are several programs out there that will indeed boost the sound and then save it with the new settings.
I hate to say this, but I have never had the chance yet to play with that phone, so don't know for sure if the phone is capable of playing true tones. I think it is capable though, but don't quote me on it.

If your using BitPim then you can send wavs and mp3s too. You can convert the birate and cut the music inside of the program before sending it.
