I need help. I was using my phone files and had a lot of luck making ringtones. Now my free trial of the the editor they had ran out. plus I got tired of paying each month. But how is the easiest way to create and send tones to my phone without a cable? I know that this has been covered so many times here, but I found the right thread the other day and my electric shut down due to a storm and lost my place.

ringtones for lg 6100
thank you for responding. I did have a good program, but it was just a trial version. I have tried to send it by e-mail and it never sounded very good. Not as clear as using the software. I tried wavepad for free and some of them turned out pretty good.

To be honest with you..if you want good sound quality ringtones, the best and only way your going to get them is to make them youself...i know you don't want to use the cable option, but it will save you a ton of money in the end..i bought my data cable off of ebay.com and it came with the driver disk. 10bucks...d/l a wave editor/mp3 to wav converter...free..download bitpm...free...download the mp3's from the internet off the song u want, edit that song according to the part that you want played...and save the file with 44k instead of the lousy 22 that you are d/ling...i have ringtones on my 6100 that sound like it's playing off of a cd...there clear, crisp, and i don't have to pay anything to d/l them on my phone...i know this is a more tedious option, but it's cheaper and you get more then what you will ever pay for off the internet
Even if you want i can make you a cd of the songs you want and how you wan them chopped and all you would have to do is get the data cable

So once you've edited your WAV file what format do you upload the file back onto the phone as?

Can you please explain how you did it? I have a lg vx6100 too and I don't know who to upload ringtones to it w/o the cable

Can someone upload the driver
I can buy the cable alone cheaper than if it came bundled with the driver. Can someone upload the driver so I don't have to spend $10 extra...
