VX9800 Free Games Theory

ok i need someone who has their vx9800 hooked up with a usb cable to their pc, has bitpim, aol instant messanger, and a couple games on their lg phone, i would like to try an experiment where we would trade games, in other words, you get my games for free, i get your games for free, and we still keep our own, please leave a msg as an application

I might do this with you I am going to get a cable so I will get back to you with this, I think I have a blue tooth one so I will post again when I know for sure if I have the cable or not...

This is just asking for trouble in a number of ways.

The only reason I haven't deleted this post is it really hasn't broken any rules and nobody replied to it.

Spend the 4 to 6 bucks, get the games legit, and enjoy them with no worries.

how is this asking for trouble? what are the negatives? and do you even know what im trying to do?

First and foremost, you asking somebody to do something illegal. We do not condone that kind of thing here. ( and yes, transfering games from one phone to another without purchasing them is against the law)

If Verizon wanted you to have the ability to do that, they would have put that capability in their phones.

I know, I know, they are getting rich off the games...they cost to much...etc, etc.

If you owned the company, wouldn't you do the same thing? I'll answer for you....yes you would.

ok so we have this whole free ringtone thing going on, but if i tried with games, i have to quit before even starting?

Free ringtones are completely different. Unless you bought the ringtone from Verizon, then again, it's stealing. (it's pretty hard to transfer a ringtone bought through GIN also)

I make my own ringtones, and therefore if I send it to someone, its not stealing as I didn't buy it from a Authorized Distributor that makes money off the ringtone.

There are also hundreds of free ringtone sites out there that you can get free ringtones from. I don't know of 10 sites that offer free games for cellphones.....do you?
