I've been working at this for a week now. I bought a USB cable for my PM-225 so I can put some mp3 ringtones on there. As it turns out it doesn't come with any software. Through some creative Google-ing I went through about 5 different USB drivers for my phone before I found one that worked (turns out that I needed to install the USB drivers BEFORE I installed BITPIM).
Then I took my mp3's, cut them and turned them into mono. I used BITPIM and uploaded them onto my phone (they are about 500kb each). On the phone I go to Menu/Settings/Sounds/Ringers/Caller ID/More/Download to get to the new ones I uploaded. I see the screen with them on it for a split second, then the phone powers off instantly (no shutdown) and then restarts itself like nothing happened.
I'M SO CLOSE!!! Does anybody know what my problem might be or how I can fix this? I can't find any info about this and don't know where to even start. I'm to the point where I want to go play in traffic before I touch this phone again.
Please Help Me!

I'd like to that all 41 of you that read my post and moved on with your lives. I solved my own problem this weekend so I will no longer need the infinite knowledge base of the vast electronic audience of cell phone users that surf this forum.
