music on my memory card?? help please??

i just recently got a memory card for my phone to play mp3s and i got that all figured out but right now it will only play certain songs that i put on the card. i will add ten songs and it will show up on the card on the computer but i put it in the phone and it will only list one more song added. whats goin on? i cant figure out why some songs will play and some won't? any help please???

I'll assume this is for the vx8100 since you put that in the tags?

Was the card formatted in the phone? Are you sure that there aren't certain MP3's that aren't showing up and not just the newest ones you add?

yes i formatted the card to the phone, did all that. i added like 30 songs, wanted to add more i have 1gig of memory so i went to add like 10 more songs and when i go to play them on the phone only certain ones will show up to play? right now i have 33 songs after trying a bunch of different ones i found like 3 more that did show up? i'm takin the songs outta my music folders on my pc, then sending them to the card on the reader. they show up in the card in the mp3 folder, but then on the phone they don't show up to play???? thanks any help is appreciated

Sometimes if there is a strange character or too many letters in the title of the song it won't show up on the phone or if it got saved as something other than an mp3 - maybe a wav. file - it won't show up on the phone.
