LG Venus (VX8800) Music Player issues

The music player in the Venus is giving me some issues.

BOTH the repeat and shuffle option do not properly function. Simply, the player will repeat songs while in shuffle before all the songs have been played.

Can this be fixed? Perhaps the options need to be set a certain way, or there is some way I can edit the system files to fix it?

it sounds like a manufacture deffect i would take it back and have if switched out since you have a year warrenty on it just to be safe

I just exchanged it in store, and the new one has the same problem. They didn't even seem to understand that when repeat is off the player should only play each song one time then stop playing. I'm going to try contacting LG, although I'm pretty sure the music player is Verizon software.

So, I talked to LG and they told me it was Verzion who would notify me of software updates to fix any bugs, and Verizon basically blew me off saying that they couldn't fix the problem.

I got my venus for christmas and i have the same problem.
It plays the same 8 or 9 songs over and over. UGH!

Im pretty sure you guys have it set this way but make sure.

1. Go to the main menu
2. Select Music (first option btw)
3. Go to Settings (6)
4. Go to Repeat (2) and make sure it is off
5. Go back and open Shuffle (3) and make sure it is on

I just noticed the music settings, and i turned repeat off, and im all good now.
