To view media files in this Hidden Media Player, there must first be media there to be played.
On a microSD card, create a new top level file called Media using your computer. Then place your secret media files that you don't want others to find in there.
Next enter the service menu:
##program9900 - enV
##lgservicemenu - Voyager and Venus
Press Send
On the enV and the Voyager I do all that from the qwerty keyboard.
Then enter six 0's (000000) as the Service Code.
You will now be in the service menu (enV) or the LG service menu (venus and voyager). If you are not acquainted with these service menus, do not change any settings as that can seriously damage your phone!
Scroll to highlight Get it Now Settings and press OK.
Select Get It Now.
For the Voyager, press Right until you read Get Going. Press ok and then scroll right to until it reads Media Player and then press OK again to access the Hidden Media Player.
For the enV, scroll right once so you read Media Player. Press OK to enter.
For the Venus, select any of the options and while it is connecting, press Back. Scroll Right until the bottom banner reads 'Media Player' and Select it.

Accessing The Media Player For The LG Voyager
C'mon guess The phone plays Videos and takes Pictures. So it can then play ANY Video or display ANY picture! So think of it like a digital version of that private box under your bed.
But do you have any idea how many web sites and forums have had people asking how to do this very thing? Thanks for sharing!
NOTE: A Little Better Clarified For The LG Voyager.
Step 1- Press ##LGSERVICEMENU Into Inside Keyboard --- Press Send
Step 2- Enter The Code 000000
Step 3- Scroll Down To "8. Media Center settings -LG" --- Press OK
Step 4- There Is Only 1 Menu Option "1. Media Center-LG" --- Press OK
Step 5- You Will See A Bunch Of Folders; Use The Right-Directional-Button Until You Get To "Get Going".
Step 6- Use The Directional-Button Again And Just Keep Pressing Right Until You Get To "Media Player". ---Press OK.
Step 6- Your In The Media Player.
I'm wondering what else can be done with this option. I have been in setting menus like this before and found all kinds of ways to alter things. But I'm not going to mess with anything now, because I don't know enough about BREW.Last edited by the2ndflood; 09-15-2008 at 02:04 AM.

if you go to Media Center; Media Center-LG; then Browse & Downloads, Media Player, QCamcorder, VCAST, and VCAST Music Player is there

Re: Access Hidden Media Player w/ 9900, Venus, and Voyager
"On a microSD card, create a new top level file called Media using your computer. Then place your secret media files that you don't want others to find in there"
How do I browse the MicroSD card to create this "media" folder? I don't have any Card Reader hardware on my computer or anything.
The MicroSD card is in my Phones MicroSD slot and I figured that BitPim reads stuff on the card so I should be able to create folders on the card. I don't know how to do this in BitPim through. ANY HELP?
I already looked under the "filesystem" with BitPim but its a bunch of crazy folders I have no clue about. Where is my MicroSD card in this filesystem so I can create the folder?
