Just bought a CU575 (unlocked), hope to use as a modem for data operation with my laptop on an upcoming trip to Moscow (probably Megafon as a carrier), using GPRS or when available EDGE.

Would like to connect to PC using bluetooth, or possibly a data cable. The question is, do I need any software on the PC to make data operation possible. I get the impression that in the US AT&T may require you to purchase software to make this work. Any idea what the situation would be with other carriers?

Finally, how do I do it? Hints / connections?
