News: Unlocked LG Optimus 2X preorders for the UK for £499.99

According to Expansys, the LG Optimus 2X will become available in the UK beginning this February. The LG Optimus 2X is a dual core Android smartphone that will retail at £499.99 in the UK. UK customers can pre-order the LG Optimus 2X and expect to recieve it on February 21.

Features of the LG Optimus 2X for the UK include the following:
Android 2.2 Froyo (upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread), the LG Optimus 2X features a 4 inch WVGA touchscreen display, 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor, Dolby Mobile sound, 8MP autofocus camera, full HD (1024p) video recording, 8GB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support.

The Optimus 2X will come preinstalled with music composed by Ennio Morricone
