The LG Apex, via US Cellular just received the update for Android 2.2 Froyo, which bring them up from the Android 2.1. This upgrade of Android 2.2 Froyo is old to most, since Android 2.2 Froyo has been out for about a year. But, that's better than what the Apex had as the Android Froyo will bring improvements to the LG Apex such as: mobile hotpsot, faster performance, a browser that is better, Exchange support and storing apps of the SD card.
US Cellular customers who have the LG Apex will need a Windows computer to get the update as this update is not OTA. The update usually takes about 30 minutes to perform and can be downloaded now. You can go to this link and it will tell you how to get your update. http://www.uscellular.com/uscellular...ll_Guide_4.pdf
