I work for a company in the telecommunications sector that handles blast calling and custom IVR setups. There is a client company whose employees all us the LG Wine II smartphone. Well, long story short, the Wine II's DTMF (Dual-tone multi-frequency) tones are not being recognized by our inbound IVR system. This means they can't navigate our menus, and therefore can't record messages to send to their recipients. Sure, they can use their home phones/personal cell phones, but at work, the cell phones are all they have, and while we could just say "just use your personal phones", then our system won't be as convenient for them. I've looked a few places for this info and the closest I got was this, but when I tried walking the client through this, we ran out of menus and never found the "DTMF Settings" in her menu.
So, does anyone have an LG Wine II (or have experience with one) and know how to manipulate the DTMF settings on it? Ideally, we want to set the DTMF tones to "long". Any help would be greatly appreciated.
