I recently upgraded from an LG800g to an LG840g and would like to import my contacts. I have both a USB cable and an SD card where the contacts are stored. How can I import my contacts to my new phone?

Re: LG 840G: importing contacts from LG800
I just made the same (HAPPY) upgrade.
To Backup LG 800g contacts (to its installed CD card):
Contacts
Sub-Menu (??? - icon to left of "Add" & "Message")
Settings
Backup Contacts
(Backup all contacts data to external memory?)
Yes
Data is saved to SD card as "Contacts...vcf". Place this card in your new 840 & the contacts are automatically added.

How much better is the LG 840g compared to the LG 800g? Is it not worth buying the 800?
