    Adding New Contacts

    1. On the home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon
    2. Press"Add contact" (depicted as a "+" symbol at the right of the "Search contacts" field
    3. Tap the "Name" field and type-in the desired name for your contact
    4. Tap the "Phone" field and enter the contact's phone number
    5. Optionally, you can press the phone type field and select an option from the pop-up menu (mobile, work, home etc)
    6. Scroll down the page and fill in the fields as you desire (the contact's address, email etc)
    7. Once you're done, press the "Save" button to add the contact to your contacts list

    Adding a Contact From a Recent Call

    1. While on the home screen, press the "Phone" icon
    2. Access the "Call logs" tab
    3. In the list that appears, search and tap on the phone number you wish to add in your contact's list
    4. Once a number is selected, press the "Add" icon depicted as a "+" symbol
    5. Press the "Create new contact" button
    6. Type-in the desired name in the "Name" field
    7. As explained in the tutorial above, you can scroll down and enter additional information (type of phone, address, email etc)
    8. Press the "Save" button when you're done

    Copying Contacts From The SIM Card To Your Phone's Memory

    1. Tap the "Contacts" icon on your handset's home screen
    2. Press the "Menu" capacitive button on your device
    3. Tap "Import/Export" and select "Import from SIM card"
    4. Select the location where you wish to save your contacts (your phone or your Google account. In this case instance, select "Phone")
    5. Checkmark the contacts that you wish to save on your device
    6. Press "Import" and confirm by tapping "Yes".

    Editing Existing Contacts

    1. While on the home screen, tap on the "Contacts" icon
    2. Select the contact you wish to edit and press the edit icon (depicted as a pencil – top right of the screen)
    3. Scroll up / down, tap the desired fields and make the changes that you wish
    4. Once you're done editing your contact, tap "Save"

    Managing the AT&T Address Book

    The AT&T Address Book is a free online backup service provided by the carrier, which allows you to store and sync your contacts in an online address book. This feature can be very useful as your contacts saved on your phone will not be lost assuming that you lose, damage or replace your phone. You can also manage your AT&T Address book from your PC by accessing the carrier's website (click the link).

    Automatically Sync Your Contacts

    1. On the home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon
    2. If this is the first time you access the "Contacts" list, the automatic sync option will appear on your display
    3. Press "Yes" to enable AT&T address book syncing
    4. Once the confirmation message appears on your screen, tap "OK"

    Enable AT&T address book sync manually

    Assuming that this is not the first time you access your contacts list and you don't get the automatic sync notification any longer, you can set up the option manually. To do so:

    1. Tap the "Contacts" icon on your home screen
    2. Press the "Menu" capacitive key on your device
    3. Select "Settings" and tap "Accounts & sync"
    4. From the list of accounts, select "AT&T Address Book"
    5. Tap the "Menu" button on your device and select "Sync now"

    Note: In order for your contacts to automatically sync in the future, make sure you checkmark the box corresponding with the "Sync Address Book" option.
