    Enabling and Managing Battery Saving Mode:

    1. While on the home screen, press the "Menu" button
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. Under "Device", tap "Battery"
    4. Tap "Power saver"
    5. Tap "Turn Power saver on"
    6. Select the battery percentage at which the Saver mode should enable
    7. Mark or clear the check boxes next to the features that you wish to be enabled / disabled during battery saver mode, such as "Wi-Fi", "Bluetooth" etc.
    8. You can access additional settings for categories like "Brightness" and "Front touch key light" by tapping the "settings" icon associated with them

    Adjusting the Screen Timeout and Lowering the Brightness:

    1. Press the "Menu" button while on a home screen
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. Under "Device", tap "Display"
    4. Select "Brightness"
    5. Tap and hold the brightness slider, and slide it to the left
    6. Tap "OK" > "Screen timeout"
    7. Select "15 seconds" or a lower value than the current one

    Disabling Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Hotspot and GPS:

    NOTE: if you wish to maximize battery life on your device, then it's highly recommended that you disable all connectivity features when they're not in use. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS are very demanding on the battery when left unchecked.

    1. Press "Menu" while viewing the home screen
    2. Tap "System settings" > "Tethering & Networks"
    3. Tap "Mobile Hotspot"
    4. Clear the check box associated with "Mobile HotSpot"
    5. Press the "Back" key until you return to the "Settings" menu
    6. From there, tap "Location access" under "Personal"
    7. Clear the check box next to "GPS satellites"
    8. Go back to the home screen and swipe the "Status" bar down
    9. Tap the "Wi-Fi" and "Bluetooth" switches to disable these features

    Change the Application Sync Settings:

    1. Press "Menu" while viewing a home screen
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. Select "Accounts & sync" under "Personal"
    4. Clear the check box associated with "Auto-sync data"
    5. To reduce syncing for each individual app, tap it

    Disabling Background Data:

    1. From any home screen, press "Menu"
    2. Tap "System settings" > "Mobile data"
    3. Press the "Menu" button
    4. Mark the "Restrict background data" check box

    Minimizing the Use of Third Party Apps:

    1. Press "Menu" while on a home screen
    2. Tap "System settings"
    3. Under "Device", tap "Apps"
    4. Choose the application that you wish to edit
    5. Tap "Disable" to turn off the app. NOTE: you can also tap "Uninstall" if you want to completely remove the app

    Switching between 4G and 2G Connectivity:

    1. From any home screen, press "Menu"
    2. Tap "System settings" > "Tethering & Networks"
    3. Under "Network settings", tap "Mobile networks"
    4. Mark the check box next to "Use only 2G networks". To return to 4G, clear the check box

    Updating to the Most Recent Software Version:

    NOTE: Following the steps below will give results only if LG has launched a new software update that improves battery life on your phone. Otherwise, performing these steps will give no results.

    1. From the home screen, press "Menu" and tap "System settings"
    2. Under "System", tap "About phone"
    3. Tap "System updates" > "Check now"
    4. Follow the on-screen prompts, assuming that a new firmware is available. If not, return to the home screen
