Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

  1. Connect the LG Realm to your computer via USB
  2. Tap "Media sync (MTP)" on the device, at the prompt
  3. From the AutoPlay window on the computer, click to "Open device to view files […]"
  4. Open a second Windows Explorer window and go to the location of the audio files on your computer
  5. Copy the audio files you wish to use as ringtones / notification sounds, and paste them on your phone's storage (Recommended in the "Ringtones" and "Notifications" folders respectively)
  6. After the transfer is complete, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon from the system ray
  7. Click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" and press "OK"
  8. You can now disconnect your smartphone from the PC

Changing Your Phone's Ringtone:

  1. Press "Menu" while viewing the home screen
  2. Tap "System settings"
  3. Go to "Sound" and scroll to "Ringtone & Notifications"
  4. Tap "Phone ringtone"
  5. Select a ringtone from the list to set it. NOTE: Newly transferred items in the "Ringtones" folder will be listed under "My Ringtones"

Setting a Custom Ringtone to a Single Contact:

  1. Open the "Contacts" application
  2. Choose the contact you wish to assign a ringtone to
  3. Tap the "Edit" button and touch the "Ringtone" menu
  4. Select the ringtone you wish to set and tap "OK"
  5. Lastly, tap "Save"

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. While viewing the home screen, press "Menu"
  2. Go to "Settings" and tap "Sound"
  3. Swipe to "System" and then tap "Notification sound"
  4. Choose the sound you wish to use for notifications. NOTE: items that have been recently transferred in the "Notification" folder should appear under "My Notifications"
  5. In case the notification sound check boxes are grayed out, change the sound profile from "Silent" to "Sound"
