Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG Realm to your computer via USB
- Tap "Media sync (MTP)" on the device, at the prompt
- From the AutoPlay window on the computer, click to "Open device to view files [ ]"
- Open a second Windows Explorer window and go to the location of the audio files on your computer
- Copy the audio files you wish to use as ringtones / notification sounds, and paste them on your phone's storage (Recommended in the "Ringtones" and "Notifications" folders respectively)
- After the transfer is complete, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon from the system ray
- Click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" and press "OK"
- You can now disconnect your smartphone from the PC
Changing Your Phone's Ringtone:
- Press "Menu" while viewing the home screen
- Tap "System settings"
- Go to "Sound" and scroll to "Ringtone & Notifications"
- Tap "Phone ringtone"
- Select a ringtone from the list to set it. NOTE: Newly transferred items in the "Ringtones" folder will be listed under "My Ringtones"
Setting a Custom Ringtone to a Single Contact:
- Open the "Contacts" application
- Choose the contact you wish to assign a ringtone to
- Tap the "Edit" button and touch the "Ringtone" menu
- Select the ringtone you wish to set and tap "OK"
- Lastly, tap "Save"
Change the Notification Sound:
- While viewing the home screen, press "Menu"
- Go to "Settings" and tap "Sound"
- Swipe to "System" and then tap "Notification sound"
- Choose the sound you wish to use for notifications. NOTE: items that have been recently transferred in the "Notification" folder should appear under "My Notifications"
- In case the notification sound check boxes are grayed out, change the sound profile from "Silent" to "Sound"
