How-to: LG Tribute: Manage Contacts & Caller Groups

Contact Management

Adding a New Contact:

1. From the home screen, tap "Contacts"
2. Tap the "+" button
3. Select the location where the contact should be saved, between "SIM", "Phone contact" and "Google"
4. Enter the contact's phone number and names in the appropriate fields
5. Add any additional details as you see fit
6. When finished, tap "Save"

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. From the home screen, tap "Phone"
2. Press "Menu" and tap "Speed dial"
3. Select the speed dial pad number you want to use for speed dialing
4. Select the contact you want to associate with the speed dial number

Importing Contacts:

1. Launch the "Contacts" app
2. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
3. Select to "Import from SIM card", "Import form SD card" or "Import from internal storage"
4. Under "Save contact to", select the location where the contacts should be imported
5. Select the contacts you want to import, or tap "Select all"
6. Follow any additional on-screen instructions to complete the process

Exporting Contacts:

1. From the "Contacts" app, press "menu"
2. Tap "Import / Export"
3. Select "Export to SIM card", "Export to Internal Storage" or "Export to SD card"
4. Choose the contacts you want to export
5. Follow any additional on-screen steps to complete the process

Deleting Contacts:

1. Launch the "Contacts" application
2. Tap and hold the contact you wish to remove
3. Tap "Delete contact"
4. Press "Yes" to confirm your actions

Managing Caller Groups

Creating a New Caller Group:

1. Launch the "Contacts" application
2. Tap "Groups" and press "Menu"
3. Tap "New Group"
4. Enter the group's name and select an account to save the group to
5. Optionally, select a group ringtone
6. Tap "Add members" and select the contact(s) you want to add to the group
7. Tap "Add" > "Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Launch the "Contacts" app
2. Go to the "Groups" tab
3. Select the group you wish to edit
4. Press "Menu" > "Edit Group" > "Add members"
5. Select the contacts you want to add to the group
6. Tap "Add" to confirm
