What happens if I update a Rooted & Unlocked LG G Pro F240L to LG's official Lollipop firmware?

Before you start reading, allow me to admit that it's gonna be a little long read. But in order to make everything understandable I had to do that.

Ok, here we go ------
I have been using a LG Optimus G Pro F240L since past 1 and half years.

About the Phone

Phone Type: Rooted and unlocked. I want to upgrade it from Jellybean (4.1.2) to official Lollipop Firmware by LG
My Location: India
GSM network being used: Vodafone India

All other detailed specifications are given in the following screenshots













But before any further action, there are some questions keeping me worried.

If I upgrade it to Lollipop OTA Firmware

(1) will it wipe the phone's "unlocked" state leaving it unusable to GSM operator service?

(2) As far as I know official Lollipop update for LG Optimus G Pro F240 is released in Korea only. So, if I update it with Korean Firmware will the phone remain

usable in India? (considering it's base band will get changed to Korean base bands I guess)

(3) Will it be in Korean language only? I don't know any foreign language except English

(4) Will this attempt to update (in authentic way. I don't want to risk it with any custom ROM version) leave the phone soft bricked?

(5) If everything goes well, will there be any improvement in battery life? There are lot of fuss about battery life improvement in Lollipop. Also, I need to make sure

that phone will not be laggy.

(6) Finally... is it ok if I download the official set up file to my computer and then update? Can you post me a link to download the file?
