NOTE: To learn how you can back up data on the LG V10, visit this thread.
Restore Contacts:
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to Settings
- Tap Menu and if necessary switch to List view
- Under Personal tap Backup & reset
- Tap LG Backup service
- Tap File restore & management
- Browse for and select the backup file
- Tap Next > Start
- At the Recorded pop-up, tap Done
Restore Contacts from the SD Card:
- Open Settings
- Switch to List view if necessary
- Tap Backup & reset under Personal
- Tap LG Backup service > Backup and restore
- Tap File restore & management
- Locate and select the backup file on the SD card
- Tap Next > Start
- Tap Done at the Restored message
Restore Media Files From the Phone:
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Personal
- Tap Backup & reset
- Tap LG Backup service > File restore & management
- Locate and select the media file backup
- Tap Next > Start
- Tap Done
Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the LG V10 to your computer via USB
- On the phone, tap to enable Media sync (MTP)
- From the AutoPlay window on the computer, select to browse the phones files and folders
- Open a second Explorer window and locate the media files backed up on your computer
- Copy the files, and transfer them back on your smartphone
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the computer
