Using a Google Account:

NOTE: Using a Google account you can sync the contacts on the Galaxy SIII. Then you can sync the account data (contacts) with the LG Class.

  1. Sign in with your Google account on the Galaxy SIII
  2. Access the “Settings” menu
  3. Tap “My Accounts” > “Google”
  4. Tap your “user name” or “email address” at the top of the screen
  5. Enable “Sync Contacts” and tap “Sync Now”
  6. On the LG Class, register the same Google account, and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

Via “Contacts”:

NOTE: Using the Contacts application on the SGSIII you can export the contacts on your device as a vCard file. You can then transfer the file to the LG Class, and import it via the default “Contacts” app.

  1. Launch “Contacts” on the SGSIII
  2. Access the “Contacts” tab and press “Menu”
  3. If necessary, tap “Contacts to display” and switch to “All contacts”
  4. Press “Menu” and tap “Import / Export”
  5. Tap “Export to SD card” (remember the file name before tapping “OK”)
  6. Once the vCard file is created, compose an email and attach the vCard file to it
  7. Send the email to your own address
  8. On the LG Class, open the email and download the attached file
  9. Open “Contacts” on the Class, and tap “menu” > “manage contacts”
  10. Tap “Import” and under “From”, select the vCard file
  11. In the “To” field, select “Google” or “Phone”
  12. Select the contacts you want to import, or tap “Select all”
  13. Tap “Import” > “Yes”

NOTE: Once you have created the vCard file on the Galaxy SIII, you can transfer it to the LG Class by connecting both devices to your PC using the USB cables. Then you can manually transfer the file to the LG Class’ storage, and import its contents using the “Contacts” app.

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: You can transfer contacts using third party apps too. Send Anywhere is an app that uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts without needing a computer. To use this method:

  1. Access the Google Play Store
  2. Install “Send Anywhere” on both devices
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the Galaxy SIII, tap “Send” and select “Contacts”
  5. Choose the contacts you want to share
  6. Tap “Send” and select a method of transfer. You can tap “Receive” on the LG Class and enter the transfer code generated on the iPhone, or you can tap “Generate QR Code” on the SGSIII and scan the code with the LG Class’ camera to begin the transfer
