Sync iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access in order to sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then, you can sync the account data and contacts with your LG G5 Lifestyle.

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account, or alternatively click “Configure” and select an existing Google account if available
  6. Click “Apply” and wait for the sync to complete
  7. Once done, switch to the LG G5 Lifestyle, register the same Google account, and allow it to sync contacts with your Android phone

Export iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer with an active Internet connection and export the contacts in vCard format for Android.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Once the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of the steps below:
    • Import the file to “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the LG G5 Lifestyle to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import it using “Contacts”

Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require access to a computer with an active Internet connection, you can also transfer your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and transfer contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Once the vCard backup file has been created, tap “Email”
  4. Compose a new email and make sure the vCard is attached
  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. On the LG G5 Lifestyle, open the email, download the vCard attachment, and use “Contacts” to import it

Via “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Last but not least, Send Anywhere is another third party application which can be used for transferring contacts without requiring a computer. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection instead, and is available on iOS and Android.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. From the Google Play Store, install the same app on the LG device
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. Tap “Send” on the iPhone
  5. Tap “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  6. Lastly, tap “Send” again and select a transfer method, such as “Receive” on the LG G5 Lifestyle, or “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone
