Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with your Android phone.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer using the Lightning cable
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and access the “Info” section
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. After the sync is done, switch to the LG phone and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account using a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share and click “Settings”
  5. Click “Export vCard” and once the vCard is downloaded, perform one of the following steps:
    • Import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the LG K3 (2017) to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can use third party apps to share your iPhone contacts without using a PC. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup”
  3. Once the backup is done, tap “Email”
  4. Make sure the email contains the vCard backup file as an attachment
  5. Send the email and attachment to your own address
  6. Switch to the LG device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  7. Use “Contacts” on the phone to import the vCard to your phonebook

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for transferring iPhone contacts without requiring a computer. The app is available on iOS and Android, and uses a peer-2-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types cross-platform.

  1. Open the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Visit the Google Play Store and install the same app on the LG device
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, choose the desired transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
