Enable Battery Saving Mode:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to the “General” tab
  3. Tap “Battery & power saving” under “Phone Management”
  4. Enable Power Saving and turn the desired Power Saving options ON or OFF
  5. Lastly, choose the battery percentage at which the mode enables automatically

Disable Smart Settings Unused at Home:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to the “General” tab if necessary
  3. Scroll to “Smart functions” > “Smart settings”
  4. Set the option “OFF”

Adjust Visual Quality in Games:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. From the “General” tab, scroll to “Phone Management”
  3. Tap “Battery & Power saving”
  4. Disable “Game optimizer”

Turn OFF Connectivity Features:

NOTE: By disabling the phone’s connectivity features when unused, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, and GPS, you can improve battery life in the long run.

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. From the “Networks” tab, scroll tap “Connectivity”
  3. Tap “Tethering” > “Mobile Hotspot”
  4. Set the toggle OFF
  5. Go back to “Settings” and tap the “Wi-Fi” and “Bluetooth” switches OFF
  6. Go to the “General” tab
  7. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Location” (GPS) > “Mode”
  8. Select “Battery saving (networks only)”

Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: In case your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a battery bank or wall socket, you can conserve battery life until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Go to the “Networks” tab
  3. Scroll to “Connectivity” and tap “More”
  4. Tap “Mobile networks” > “Network mode”
  5. Enable “GSM only”

Decrease Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to the “Display” tab
  3. Scroll to “Basic settings”
  4. Tap “Brightness” and drag the brightness slider towards the left side of the screen
  5. Next, tap “Screen timeout” and select a lower screen timeout value

Minimize Third Party App Usage:

NOTE: Some third party apps perform regular background processes and can affect battery life even when not in use. By disabling or removing unused third party apps, you can improve battery life in the long run.

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab
  3. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Apps”
  4. Go to “Downloaded”
  5. Tap and hold the desired app
  6. To disable the app, tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
  7. To remove the app from the phone, tap “Uninstall”

Disable Background Data:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Go to the “Networks” tab
  3. Tap “Mobile data” > “Menu”
  4. Enable “Restrict background data” > “OK” to confirm

Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: By changing your accounts/apps sync settings to reduce sync, you can improve battery life in the long run.

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Access the “General” tab
  3. Scroll to “Personal”
  4. Tap “Accounts & sync” and disable “Auto-sync data”
  5. Scroll to “Accounts”
  6. Select an app / account to change its sync settings
