Clear App Cache/Data:

  1. Open “Settings” and go to the “General” tab if necessary
  2. Under “Phone management”, tap “Apps”
  3. Select the desired app and tap “Storage”
  4. Tap “Clear cache”
  5. If necessary, tap “Storage” > “Clear data” > “OK” to confirm (check WARNING above)

Clear the Phone’s Cache Partition:

NOTE: If your phone crashes freezes, or otherwise doesn’t work as intended and you’re planning on factory resetting it, alternatively you can try fixing these issues by clearing the phone’s cache partition. This can have results similar to a factory reset without losing any personal data on the phone’s internal storage.

  1. Open “Settings”

  3. Tap “Storage” > “Internal storage”
  4. Wait for the phone to finish calculating the cached data
  5. Tap “Cached data” > “Clear”

NOTE: If clearing the cache partition didn’t help, you can visit this thread for a guide on how to factory reset the device instead.
