Back Up App Data:
- Launch Settings
- Access the General tab
- Scroll to Phone Management and tap Backup & reset
- Tap Back up my data under Google Backup and enable the feature
Back Up Contacts on an Account:
- Launch Settings
- Go to General and tap Backup & reset under Phone management
- Tap LG Backup
- Go to Backup & restore
- Tap Back up data and select the SD card
- At the prompt, sign in with the desired backup account
- Select Personal data while deselecting the other options
- Expand the Personal data folder and ensure Contacts is checked
- Tap Start > Done to confirm
Back Up Contacts on SD Storage:
- Open Settings
- If necessary, go to General
- Tap Backup & reset under Phone Management
- Tap LG Backup & reset
- Access Backup data
- Select SD Card and the items you want to back up
- Press Start to begin the process
- Once the process is complete, tap Done
Back Up Media Files:
- Open Settings
- Tap Backup & reset under Phone Management
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
- Select Media data and deselect the other options
- Expand the Media data option and select the files you want to back up
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:
- Connect the LG device to the computer via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate and copy the desired media files or .sbf backup files on the phone storage
- Paste the files in the desired backup location on the computer storage
- Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
