Back Up App Data:
- Open Settings
- Access Phone management
- Tap Backup & reset
- Go to Google backup and enable Back up my data
Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:
- Open Settings
- Access Phone management > Backup & reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & Restore
- Tap Back up my data > SD Storage
- Log in with your LG account
- Select Personal data and deselect the other options
- Expand Personal data and make sure Contacts is checked
- When ready, tap Start > Done
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Open Settings and go to Phone management
- Tap Backup & reset > LG Backup & Restore
- Tap Backup data > SD Card and select the desired contacts
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files:
- Launch Settings
- Tap Backup & Reset under Phone management
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & restore
- Select Media data and deselect the other options if needed
- Expand Media data and select the media files you want to back up
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files on a PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the phone and computer
- On the phone, enable Media device / File Transfer when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files or the desired files with the .sbf extension on the phone
- Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the computer
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
