Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data and contacts with the Android device.
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
- Set the account to sync contacts with the Android phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with your account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Access Contacts
- Tap the desired contacts and go to Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard is downloaded, perform one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Once the process completes, send the vCard to your own address
- Switch to the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook using Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another Android and iOS third-party app you can use for sharing iPhone contacts over a peer-2-peer connection without requiring computer access.
- Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
- Install the sapp on the Android device via the Play Store
- Launch the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts and tap Send
- Finally select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete
