Back Up App Data:
- Open Settings and access Phone Management
- Tap Backup & Reset
- Select Google Backup
- Enable Back up my data
Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:
- Open Settings
- Go to Phone Management
- Tap Backup & Reset > LG Backup
- Tap Backup & Restore > Back up my data
- Sign in with your LG account
- Select Personal data and deselect the other options
- Expand Personal data and ensure Contacts is checked
- Tap Start > Done
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Open Settings
- Under Phone Management tap Backup & Reset
- Tap LG Backup & Restore > Backup data
- Tap SD Card
- Select the desired contacts and then tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files:
- Launch Settings
- Tap Backup & Reset under Phone Management
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & Restore
- Select Media data and deselect the other options
- Expand Media data and select the media files you want to back up
- When ready, tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the media files on the phone, or the backup files ending with the .sbf extension
- Copy the desired files and transfer them to the desired backup location on the PC
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
