Sync iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account and sync the account data with the Android phone.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to “info”
  4. Select “Sync Contacts With” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android phone

Share iPhone Contacts from an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the PC
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and go to “Contacts”
  4. Select the desired contacts
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard” and follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and use “Contacts” to import it to your phonebook

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the device
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup’ to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once done, send the vCard to your own email address
  4. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
  5. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Another third-party app you can use is Send Anywhere on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Go to the App Store and install the app on the iPhone
  2. Install the app on the Android device from the Play Store
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Select a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
