Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
- On the phone, enable Media device / File Transfer when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the audio files on the PC storage
- Transfer the desired files to the phone storage in the Ringtones and/or notifications directories
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open Settings
- Go to Device
- Tap Sound > Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap OK
Change a Specific Contacts Ringtone:
NOTE: You cant set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the SIM card or the devices internal memory.
- Launch Contacts
- Select the desired contact and tap Edit
- Tap Menu > Ringtone
- Select the desired ringtone and tap OK
Change Incoming Email Alert Sounds:
- Open Email
- Tap menu > Settings
- Go to Accounts & Sync
- Tap New emails
- Go to Notification sound and select the desired notification alert
- Optionally, enable or disable Vibrate
Change Emergency Alert Settings:
- Open Messages
- Tap Menu > settings
- Access Advanced settings and tap more > Emergency alerts
- Enable or disable Imminent severe alerts Imminent extreme alerts and AMBER alerts
- Optionally, turn ON or OFF Sound and vibrate Alert Vibration and Alert Sound
