Back Up App Data:
- Launch Settings
- Access Phone Management
- Tap Backup & Reset
- Select Google Backup
- Enable Back up my data
Back Up contacts to an LG Account:
- Open Settings
- Go to Phone Management and tap Backup & Reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & Restore
- Select Back up my data and log in with your LG account
- Select and expand Personal data while deselecting the other options
- Tick the Contacts check box and tap Start > Done
Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:
- Launch Settings
- Access Phone Management > Backup & Reset
- Tap LG Backup & Restore > Backup data
- Select SD card
- Select the desired contacts then tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files:
- Open Settings
- Go to Backup & Reset
- Tap LG Backup > Backup & Restore
- Select Media data and deselect the other options
- Expand Media data and select the desired files
- When ready, tap Start > Done
Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:
- Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
- Enable File Transfer / Media device on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification shade
- Open the File Explorer on the PC
- Locate the media files or the .sbf backup files you want to back up to the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the computer storage
- Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
