Re: Putting my uploaded mp3s as my ring tone?
I've recently updated MPT to version 5.0.7a and have created a new ring tone for my new V3xx, made sure it was under 500kb and sent it to the phone. It shows up in the the Music folder, but when I try to select it as a ring tone for a contact it doesn't show up.
Am I supposed to put it somewhere else. I don't see an option in MPT to do that.

Re: Putting my uploaded mp3s as my ring tone?
It's been so long since I did this I'm not sure I remember everything. I'm pretty sure I created the mp3's to be under 30 seconds, I think that was even more important than the size. I just looked at them and they are all under 300kb. I used Audyssey to create them. They all show up under Music on my phone.

Re: Putting my uploaded mp3s as my ring tone?
I use the site makeownringtone.com and i've had no problems. As long as I make the ringtone under 60 seconds it works with my verizon razr. I do the option to use email then have it emailed directly to my phone. Then when i view the message I tell it to Save Sound and then I can choose it as a ringtone.
