My Razr died...any way to recover pics and video?

No way to power it...it is just dead?
Anyone have any suggestions? I have video of my 1 year old since birth and mom my who passed away last year.

What exact model of the razr do you have? This is probably a stupid Q, but is there any chance that the vid was stored on a TF card? Probably not, other wise you wouldn't be asking this Q.

But, I 'think' sometimes you can still access your phone with P2KC under RSD CDMA General even with it off. I'll have to try it myself though to make sure.

"edit" OK, I just tried the method indicated above, and although RSD Gen gave me a diff error message, I went ahead and started P2KC 4.9.E and hit the drop down menu and it read my phone just fine, even though it was powered off.

yeah... theres no reason the phone should need to be ON per-se. BitPim or QPST can do the same without need to suspend the phone to p2k mode as well.

of important note though is that if the phone fails to get recognized by the PC when you connect it, its most likely a lost cause. but give it a shot anyways.

when the phone is recognized by the comp, it should start to charge - if it gets that far, you should be good. other wise, something may be seriously jacked with the hardware itself and in that case, you may be screwed.

I just pulled the battery on my razr and plugged it into my computer. Using motorola phone tools, it did show my content. I hope this works for you. It would suck to lose those memories.
