Well, this was easier than I thought it would be. You need a #6 Torx screwdriver, a very small flat-head screwdriver, a new antenna base and a static wrist strap. If the antenna itself was broken, buy a replacement. I got an Excelite XTD-6 at my local electronics supply store.
NOTE OF CAUTION: Without the proper use of a static wrist strap, you risk damaging, degrading or destroying the highly sensitive circuits of your phone. Since it takes only 100 volts to destroy a circuit and at least 2,300 volts before a static shock can be felt, don't believe anyone who says you don't need this protection.
Remove these items in this order:
1. V60i back cover
2. Four #6 Torx screws (one at each corner of the phone's rear; note that the top two are different than the bottom two)
3. V60i battery
4. Plastic U-shaped seal (USS) and metal battery compartment/circuit board cover (BC/CBC). The antenna base is held in place by these two pieces, which are interlocked at the top. To remove this assembly, locate the two tabs (one at each side of the BC/CBC) and press inward. The assembly should lift out.
5. Separate the assembly by holding the BC/CBC in one hand and gently lifting and tilting back the USS. Before you tilt it too far back, gently depress the interlocking lip at the top of the USS. Once the assembly separates, the broken antenna base should fall out.
6. Insert a new antenna base into the BC/CBC. You may have to press it firmly to seat it.
7. Reattach the USS to the BC/CBC.
8. Reattach the assembly to the phone.
9. Reattach the four #6 Torx screws (do not over-tighten)
10. Insert the battery.
11. Replace the back cover.
12. Replace the antenna.
Good luck,
Jim
