Ok, it sound as though some how, some way, your ringtone ended up on your sim which I personally have never heard of. You can try to rename the ringtone, and that may work or delete it then reinstall. If it some how got on your sim I would like to know how you did it.

Ahh crap, I just read over your post again and know whats wrong. It seems to me that your trying to apply the ringtone to a phone # in your phonebook (let me know if I'm wrong) but to fix that prob you need to edit the # and on the save to line make sure it says "phone" this will allow you to set that ringtone for that #. Sorry about the first post. Me so dumb

sorry griff, still not working......
my phonebook entries (names) have :store to phone enabled, but the mp3s wont work. another ring goes off... but if im scrolling thru my rings and i stop on them , they work , so i KNOW they made it onto the phone!!!! either i have a setting wrong that i cant find, or im missing some step in the mp3-to-ringtone operation. WHAT TO DO?
