Trouble with my new moto V1050 vodaphone

Hi everyone,

I bought a v1050 off of ebay the other day. I didnt realize that it is a locked phone to portugal. From what I read, unlocking in legal as long as you dont buy the phone under contract. I bought the phone off of my contract and still have the phone that is on contract untouched. How can I get this phone to work? I mean what is this unlocking procedure and how can I do it? Thanks everyone. BTW the phone cost an arm and a leg so an answer would be nice.

thats a nice phone you got your service provider should unlock it for you (a store, phone store) for 10-20 CDN dollars, well dats wat i noe... hope that helps... if im wrong dont blame me, haha
