Hello all - I am here to hopefully get some info

I don't have a carrier, after my divorce, credit went to hell pretty quickly. I am mainly here just to ask a few questions that I can't seem to find the answers to on the outside, heh.

Thanks, I started a thread in the cell phone provider forums but I notice it's not getting touched, is that reaction to it being an old question? If so, I just don't know the answer and just wanted to gain the info.

I am new and I'm sorry if this has been posted ad nauseum - I searched but really couldn't find what I was looking for.

I am very much a novice with phones but I need to know if I can do this. I have 2 phones, a motorolla and an LG. If both are unlocked, can I go get on a prepaid plan with a carrier with either one of these existing phones? If so, how would I do this?

There shouldnt be a problem..as long as you dont cancel first..just activate the 2 prepaid cards..If you dont have them..get them first, call the prepaid customer service and provide them with the porting numbers with account # and I belive they also ask for your password, and they can help you out fromt here.
