need more info on how my phone functions!

Hello! I just joined this cell phone forum today! yayyyy... lol .. I have a Verizon Samsung flip phone/smartphone. The manual to this phone is very very thin and does not contain information on how the functions of this phone work. For instance - If there is a number in my missed calls and i press LOCK - what happens? Does it block that person from calling me for a while until i unlock that caller?

Can i block a caller from calling me?

Is a text message generated from me to the caller once i text them one single time???

All this confusing stuff with no answers from the Verizon manual. I am so disappointed with this manual. Is there anyplace on the Verizon site that i can find out about all of my phones functions and how they work? I must say Virgin Mobile's cell phone manual is very complete in telling you about your phone's functions and exactly how they work so you know how to operate them. I don't understand why Verizon does not give you a manual like that with your phone. I can't learn everything by trial and error on my phone with no initial explanation. Very frustrating.. Help Verizon users!!!!! lololol ... hellllllllllp oh and happy monday xox
