Hello Guys. I just bought an i730 and is working fine. The question is: At work they use nextel phones but model i700's and i550's. Is there a way to get the DC numbers out of those phones?. Thanks

I mean, be able to read the DC numbers so I can put them in my i730. That way I just carry one phone at my workplace, instead of two.

    Thanks

ask them for there direct connect number? I think we are missing something here.

I think what your saying is that you have two nextels, one from work, an old hunker, and a new, personal, i730 and would like to recieve your direct connect calls from your work phone on your personal phone. If thats the case, you can't.

If your trying to get a DC number that is assigned to a phone from the phone itself, on the old preSIM cards, press *# 1 and that'll bring up phone info, you can go to the right a few times and get private ID number.

if you are talking about stored numbers in memory like all your personal names and phone numbers and names and direct connect numbers then you could use rss or companion pro. Companion pro is free it is on www.mot.com/iden click pc software at the bottom left then choose companion pro. You will need a cable for the i700 and one for the new phone. If you take it in to a service center they will do it for you for $15.
