    Hey,
I have myjal, the motorola usb cord, and windows xp. Im trying to use myjal to put ringtones on my 730, but the computer wont detect the usb cord. I installed the drivers and still i get nothing. Some people told me that when u plug the phone into the cord u should hear a ding on your speakers, well i dont get that so i dont think its installed properly. Can anyone help me thanks.

Make sure the drivers you downloaded are WinXP specific. You might have downloaded drivers for 9x by mistake. If that's not the case, make sure the drivers are coming from http://idenphones.motorola.com . There might be issues with WinXP SP2... check to see if there's updates for that at the same URL. The 730's been a real ***** to update. The same problems happened with the 1st releases of the i58sr. I've found in other forums that when the USB cable won't work, the serial cable will. It's worth a shot.
