I get an error message for the past couple of hours whether it be voicemail, walkie-talkie, normal cellular... I had no service for about 5 minutes where i normally get all 4 bars and then I kept getting the try again 403 error message no matter what i did, i reset my phone and now i get the "service restricted" message... what gives?

edit: actually it doesnt even say Nextel, it just says Ready

2nd edit: what the frick!!! i powered-cycled it and now it gives me error 466, and says ready again. and omg, you know how when it by speakers it makes that ticking noise? well, im not doing anything and its friggin freakin out hardcore, theres like Nextel techno coming from my speakers. i dont think anyone's nextels around here work, i think one of our towers pooped itself or something.

Sounds to me exactly like a tower problem. Get your GPS coordinates off the phone and call them in to customer care so they can find the closest tower which is the offender. When you get "Service Restricted" it means that the phone is not registering with the tower. Technically, the IMEI (Int'l. Mobile Equipment ID) number from your phone does not match the IMSI (Int'l. Mobile Subscriber ID) list in the tower. Maybe the T1 connection to the tower got severed? If that is the case, then no amount of power cycling or master resets will cure your problem. It's a NEXTEL problem.

    Re: Service restricted??

hmmm by chance i530? This happens ocassionally to phones, (happens a lot on i530 or 560s for some reason). Try taking it to a service center or you can call boost mobile.

    Re: Service restricted??

make sure you have minutes on it. also sometimes with Boost when you try to make a phone call, not 'chirp' someone, the server will be busy, but not the person your trying to call. maybe this is the same thing.....
