All of the sudden, my text messages are being received as net alerts (browser messages) on my phone instead of to my inbox! I called tech support and they checked my plan (unlimited data and messaging). They checked my provisioning. I did a battery pull, a master reset and checked my text settings and still nothing. Everything was fine for the last year but something changed. Any help would be appreceiated.

Well, Nextel has multimedia messaging as the platform for texts etc...If they are coming as browser alerts, its on your phone, there's no other way for them to be sent over the network.
In that case, have you tried a software update on your device? The master radio reset really only resets the way in which your device communicates with the network (authentication/security protocols/etc), the way your phone deciphers that alert is completely independent of the network (since it only has one way to send it to your phone). I'll pull some more detailed info at work tomorrow, but really there should be an update or software setting on your phone, I'd attempt that update then do the battery pull again and test. PM to remind me if I haven't posted a more detailed response by tomorrow night.
