i95 display screen

i'm fairly new to this and i was wondering if anyone had figured out how to get rid of the nextel banner and the time off the screen.

cant be done. its in the firmware. it cant cannot be done. just wait till the i730 comes out in 3 months

yo the i99 is the last phone coming out lol idk where u peopel coem from but ur crazy you got to go to settigns and get rid of it thats all???? ur all crazy

You cant take nextel off the screen but you can take the time off, just go into settings and turn the time/date stamp off

pretty sure we all tried it... i know people that have tried to hack the phone just to change it lol not successful tho.. if anyone comes up w/ a solution. Get at me ASAP. i'm sick of it. nextel should pay us to have their banner on our phones!

what are the new features on the i730 does anyone know?

ummm...ringtones customized for each person...gps...much louder n clearer i've heard...much much smaller than the bricks they have out now...65k color screen...nothing incredible...im waiting for the i930 next fall

the "nextel" banner is on the sim card... some dealers can remove the banner with a sim reader and writer... before you go ask the local shop... don't bother... they are not alowed as per Nextel... what you can do is change the palet colors... like the spring and other palets... what you can do is make the text all clear... that removes the banner... the downfall is that it remves the text from your menus as well... which means you use the little pics as a guide but it works
