I am trying to install a Nokia 6255 as a modem using a DKU-2 cable and have so far been unsuccessful. My PC runs Windows XP SP2 and I am using a Toshiba Laptop.
I load the DKU-2 drivers and ad a modem through Phone and Modems Options in the control panel using the Nokia provided modem codes but cannot get the PC to allocate a Com port. The PC recognises the phone and seems to be ready for data transfer but thats about as far as I can get.
Anyone else had the same problem and been able to fix it?
