Today I pulled out my phone and the screen was all dark so I slided it up and down and it remained black. I turned it off and turned it back on again and the screen looked all fuzzy. I tried turning it off and on a couple more times and it remained black. The phone is fully functional, Eg. I can call, I can listen to music , and I can do everything else but I have to move around by memorization... Does anyone know what I could do to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

Bump... I send the phone into the factory and they fixed it for me but today the problem just occurred again... Now my warranty ran out so if I send it into the factory, I'd have to pay... Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Re: Problem with screen of Nokia 6265i
Your problem can easily be fixed by changing the LCD of your phone,
the LCD will be damaged by pulling or falling especially the large LCDs so ,all other things are ok and working correctly.
Changing the LCD can be done by even by a regular mender.

Have you tried taking the SIM out and putting it back in? That sometimes works for the weirdest things. Although it sounds like it may be a little more complicated than that.
Sorry about the warranty thing, that sucks.

Re: Problem with screen of Nokia 6265i
Man, that's nothing.
I bought my Nokia 6265i June of 06 from Telus
I returned it within a week because it kept freezing on me, got it back in 2 weeks, froze on me again and deleted everything on my phone, returned it again, got it back again in 2 weeks, dropped a call and then froze (it tends to freeze when it drops calls, which is all the time)... so exactly 10 times later of returning it, occasionally getting a new 6265i, usually having to wait 2 weeks for mine to get repaired, Telus still refuses to give me compensation.
Last time they wanted to blame me because I 'short circuited' the phone by removing the battery while it was on. I removed it because it froze and the screen overheated the time before and they were going to charge me $200 to repair the screen and parts if I wasn't under the warranty, so no matter what I do, they get mad at me.
Even my 10th phone I've received freezes every 2-3 days, crashes all the time, wipes stuff off my phone, twice off my memory card, and melted my memory card once.
Telus said that they'd give me a new phone within 6 months of my current 3 year plan if I bought another 3 year plan after.
Seems pretty stupid if I don't actually plan on staying with Telus after this.
My aunt works at Telus as a manager and her children and husband have a Bell phone. Why? Because Telus is crap.

Re: Problem with screen of Nokia 6265i
I have the same phone, it was a replacement given to me as a warranty exchange for a 6275i, and a few days ago my phone started having the same problems as yours, except before mine went completely blank, it showed a negative image of what it normally did. I took my phone in to find out if it would be covered under warranty and the guy told me it appeared damaged to him and it would not. I took the phone home and dismantled it thinking maye a wire came undone because it is a slider phone.... I found the wire ribon that connects the LCD to the circut board was completely exposed and worn down from the simple function of sliding the phone open and closed. I am extremely annoyed with my service provider because my original phone was not a slider and would have never had this problem and they would not accept it as a warranty exchange and will not now that I have opened the phone. It is piece of garbage and I am going to try to get it replaced by Nokia.
