    It's only been a week since Nokia announced the N97 would arrive in 75 countries and now the North American (NAM) version of N97 is available for purchase in the US. If in New York and Chicago, you can visit Nokia's flagship stores and purchase the unlocked handset for $699. Black is the only color available at this time at the flagship stores so if you are waiting for the white handset, your best bet is to pre-order it from Nokia's USA website for the same retail price.
    Below are some of the specs:

    * Quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA connectivity
    * Symbian S60 5th edition
    * 3.5 inches TFT touchscreen display with 360 x 640 pixels and 16 million colors
    * Full QWERTY keyboard
    * GPS / A-GPS
    * Wi-Fi

    * 5MP autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss optics, LED flash and VGA video recording
    * TV out
    * 32GB of internal memory
    * MicroSDHC card support, up to 16GB

    nice looking phone..seems pretty hot. unfortunately, im not a fan of bulky qwerty type mobile phones. like the Xperia X1
