my phone has been running really slowly lately and I am worried that there might be something wrong with it like a virus infection or worse. Anyone got any suggestions on how to get my phone back to its faster running self?

Thanks. I have just downloaded mobile guard and it has been great so far but im still learning all the functions available. I used the spam cleaner to get rid of all the unwanted stuff on my phone and this has really helped ensure my phone works better. Your recommendation was really helpful.

No. I haven’t found that function yet but im about to look it up now. I am always downloading various apps, ringtones, files etc so I need this anti malware function.

I am not too certain but I have heard that the new version 4.0 of the antivirus software is the fastest software around at detecting, combating and eradicating viruses. The software has also enhanced its 24 hour protection capabilities to ensure that it is even less likely that mobile phone users who have installed the antivirus software will come under attack. Does anyone else know any other upgrades version 4.0 offers?

You can also check on available software update.
But be mindful you need to back up (esp. the contacts) all the stuff on your phone first for updating the software will delete all the files on your phone.

Exactly. First things first. Back up your data, contacts etc then perform a software update

Clear the phone memory and uninstall the unused software.
